About the Project
Celebrate the Festival of Lights with Traditional Diyas Made from Gau Mata's Sacred Cow Dung
Diwali is the festival of lights, devotion, and new beginnings. Every year, we decorate our homes, light diyas, and welcome Maa Lakshmi and Ganesh Ji.
But this Diwali, your celebration can bring light into someone else's life too.
At Gau Dham Gaushala, cow dung collected from Gau Mata is transformed into traditional and eco-friendly products such as Diwali diyas, dhoop, Lakshmi-Ganesh idols, Shiv Ji idols, and anti-radiation chips.
Behind these products are rural women who are working hard to earn a livelihood and support their families.
A Diya That Brings Light Beyond Your Home
Under the guidance of Madan Gopal Soni, Gau Dham Gaushala has created an initiative that connects Gau Seva with women's empowerment.
Women from nearby villages come to the gaushala to make these traditional products. Many belong to financially struggling families and depend on this work to support their household expenses and children's education.
Every diya they make represents more than a festive decoration. It represents their hard work, income, and hope for a better future.
When you support these products, you help bring light into the lives of the women who make them.
Your Support Can Make This Diwali Brighter
This Diwali, Gau Dham Gaushala wants to expand its initiative, encourage the production of traditional cow-dung products, and create more livelihood opportunities for rural women.
Your support can help:
- 🪔 Promote Traditional Diwali Diyas: Encourage the making of cow-dung diyas and festive products.
- 🐄 Support Gau Seva: Strengthen the gaushala and its ongoing activities.
- 👩🌾 Empower Rural Women: Help women earn through traditional craftsmanship.
- 📚 Support Children's Education: Help families meet their children's educational needs.
- 🌱 Encourage Sustainable Products: Promote useful products made from naturally available materials.
This Diwali, Don't Just Light a Diya. Light Up a Life.
A small diya can brighten a home. Your support can brighten the future of an entire family.
By supporting Gau Dham Gaushala, you become a part of a mission that brings together Gau Seva, traditional craftsmanship, and women's empowerment.

Jai Gau Mata!
