About the Project
On the sacred banks of Maa Saryu at Ram Ghat, Ayodhya, stands Shri Ram Janki Mandir & Ashram — not just as a structure of brick and stone, but as a lifetime of devotion offered by an elderly saint, Tribhuvan Das Ji Maharaj.
For years, Maharaj Ji has poured his heart, energy, and every small offering he received into building this temple. Through bhajan, seva, and humble dakshina collected from devotees, nearly half the temple has been completed.
But today, the construction has come to a halt.
The walls remain unfinished.
The floors are incomplete.
The wiring is yet to be done.
The Garbh Grih still awaits completion.
And Maharaj Ji, now old and physically weak, can no longer continue the work alone.
A Temple Built for Service, Not Luxury
Devotees travel from distant places to Ayodhya with faith in their hearts. Many cannot afford proper lodging. They come to this Ashram seeking shelter and blessings.
Despite limited resources and an incomplete building, Maharaj Ji opens the doors for them. He shares whatever food and space he has.
This temple was never meant for comfort.
It was built to serve devotees of Shri Ram.
The Only Wish of Tribhuvan Das Ji
Maharaj Ji does not ask for wealth.
He does not ask for personal comfort.
He asks only this:
“Before I leave this world, may I see Shri Ram Janki and Hanuman Ji’s temple completed… so that no devotee ever suffers here.”
This is more than construction.
It is the final prayer of a life devoted to Bhagwan.
