About the Project
As winter approaches, it's crucial to provide warmth and comfort to those who have dedicated their lives to spiritual pursuits—the elderly sadhus of Varanasi. The cold can be especially harsh on these revered individuals, making our campaign to distribute blankets an essential act of compassion.
The Cause
Ayodhya and Varanasi, two of India's holiest cities, are home to numerous sadhus who live with minimal resources, dedicating their lives to spirituality. During the winter months, the need for warmth becomes critical, especially for older sadhus who are more susceptible to the cold. Our campaign seeks to provide these venerable individuals with blankets, ensuring they remain warm and safe.
Our Goal
We aim to raise funds and resources to distribute 2,000 high-quality, warm blankets—1,000 for Ayodhya and 1,000 for Varanasi—to elderly sadhus before the peak of winter. Each blanket symbolizes our collective gratitude and respect for their spiritual guidance and devotion.
How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal. Your donations will be used to purchase and distribute blankets directly to the sadhus.
Spread the Word: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and social media networks. The more people who know, the greater our impact will be.
Volunteer: If you're in Ayodhya or Varanasi, or can travel to these cities, join us in the distribution efforts. Your hands-on help will make a significant difference.
Join Us
Join us in this heartwarming initiative to ensure that the elderly sadhus of Ayodhya and Varanasi stay warm and safe this winter. Together, we can make a tangible difference in their lives and honor their spiritual contributions to society.
