Every year during the revered Rath Yatra in Jagannath Puri, lakhs of devotees and sadhus—many of them elderly, barefoot, and fasting—undertake a pilgrimage to witness Lord Jagannath’s divine darshan.
These wandering monks carry no possessions, ask for nothing, and yet preserve the spiritual traditions and values of Bharat through their lives of renunciation, meditation, and penance.
While they carry the torch of dharma, many walk without even basic necessities.
During the Rath Yatra, Shiv Dhaam Foundation is organizing Anna Daan Camps in Puri to serve over 5,000 sadhus and Lakhs of pilgrims with compassion and care.
